W.W.II ORAL REPORT ASSIGNMENT 150 POINTS
A) Individually you will prepare a four to six power point slide oral report
on one of the following topics regarding W.W.II.
B) Your oral report needs to last from 2 minutes to 4 minutes
C) Power point is used as an outline.  Therefore, each slide must follow
the rule of 4 by 3.  That is, no more that four words across and no more
   than three lines down.
D) Note cards/pages are allowed.  However, you will not read directly from the
note cards/pages or from the power point slide.
E) You need to become familiar with the topic you choose so that you can
    speak with some authority.
F) You will be graded on clarity of speech, eye contact, effective use of power
   point and historical information

The grade breakdown is as follows:

60 points = Historical information (does the oral report have some historical backing to it)
40 points = Power point slide show (is power point used effectively and within the 4 to six slide limit)
25 points = Clarity of speech (did you speak loudly and clearly)
25 points = Eye contact (did you look up from you notes and scan the classroom)
[FAILURE TO STAY WITHIN THE PRESCRIBED TIME LIMIT WILL RESULT IN A 50 POINT DEDUCTION]

The order of presentation of your oral report was chosen on a random basis.  You must present on that day unless you trade with another student and clear it with me.  Failure to make an oral report will result in a loss of 100 points
